My order has been returned to sender. How do I get it re-sent?

If Australia Post have attempted to deliver your parcel when no one was in attendance, and they have determined that it is unsafe to leave it, it will be sent to your local post office for collection. They will leave a card advising you of this.

Usually you will have 15 days to collect it from the post office. If it is not collected within 15 days, it will be returned to The Shade.

Please note, if Australia Post have attempted delivery, and they have made the decision to take your parcel to your local post office, this is a matter between you and Australia Post. The Shade bears no responsibility for Australia Post's decisions after delivery has been attempted.

Once your parcel has been returned to The Shade because:

a) your parcel was not collected from your post office with 15 days, or

b) the address you provided was incorrect

We are happy to send it back to you for the cost of postage (Please note that The Shade is charged by Australia Post when a parcel is returned to us. If we don't charge you for the resending of your parcel, we would incur another delivery fee).
