Help! I have unwanted green tones in my hair. What should I do?

Green tones can sometimes be seen when cool tones have been layered on top of cool tones. Excessive cool tones can look green. Porous hair which over-absorbs colour, when coloured repeatedly with cool tones, can lead to visible green tones.

You can manage and reduce visible green tones by adding warm tones.

Apply a warm based colour, such as a colour with golden secondary tones as a semi-permanent colour to add some warmth, without impacting your base colour. Select the 5 vol developer during the order process to achieve a semi-permanent colour result.

If you are colouring with a cool based permanent colour, consider blending a cool colour with a neutral colour, which can add just enough warm tones to reduce unwanted green tones.
